Our story starts with one cool dude...
You'd have to meet Turner (Bubs) to ever fully realize what a cool guy he was. He loved sports cars and unicorns and having fun with his buddies. He cared deeply about his people and was always up to brainstorm a new, creative idea.
He was not just our brother...he was our very dear friend. When he passed away in 2021 in an accident, we made our first set of dice bracelets for the D&D groups he played with. Using dice from his very own Crown Royal dice bag, we lovingly crafted a memorial to him and the characters he played.
Then one day, it dawned on us that this could be a business...an opportunity to build something in his honor. Not only could we sell a product he would have been pumped about, we could use part of our profits to support causes he cared about.
Bubs fought for almost ten years with depression. We spent many evenings talking together and crying together and listening as he showed us his hurt. As his condition continued to intensify, he made the choice to get professional help. He spent a month in Florida at Honey Lake Clinic. We couldn't be prouder of him for getting the help he needed. He came home a changed man.
Over the next year, we got to see him thrive and grow. His smile returned. Seeing him getting healthy again was truly the greatest gift we could have asked for. It is hard not having him here with us today, but we know his soul lives on and that he is getting to experience everything he hoped to, and so much more than he ever could have here on this earth.
He said if he was rich he would want every one of his friends to get the opportunity to go to Honey Lake Clinic. He also said he would want to help the homeless...so we want to make those dreams into a reality by sharing a portion of every sale we make to support mental health and homeless charities.
Our Brabbus and Loci commemorative designs are an ode to two of the characters he played...the start of what we hope will be a beautiful collection that many will enjoy for years to come.
